NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR

NoN-URBANIZED PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION 49 USC §5311,

CAPITAL BUS and BUS-RELATED 49 USC §5309, AND

SPECIAL NEEDS Transportation for Elderly INDIVIDULALS and INDIVIDULAS with Disabilities 49 USC §5310

 

The New Mexico State Department of Transportation’s Transit and Rail Bureau is accepting Letters of Intent from eligible organizations interested in applying for assistance for private non-profit agencies who serve the elderly and/or persons with disabilities (§5310); organizations who wish to apply for capital funding assistance for bus and bus-related activities (§5309); or organizations who wish to apply for administrative, operating and capital funding assistance for rural public transportation (§5311), from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). THIS NOTICE APPLIES TO FUNDING FOR THE 2007/2008 FISCAL YEAR

BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2007 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2008.

 

Interested parties wishing to apply for assistance under §5310, §5309, and/or §5311, MUST return a Letter of Intent postmarked no later than June 9, 2006 to:

Letters of Intent must include:

 

1.      Organization Name, Address, and Telephone Number.

 

2.      Name, phone number and e-mail address of contact person.

 

3.      Specify which application package you are requesting (Section 5309, 5310, and/or 5311).
